Hey guys, I hope you all are doing good out there. The family and I are just chilling in the household here in the Cali desert waiting for our new addition (baby girl) to arrive next week!!
Today I just want to briefly talk about 2 exercises that are great in losing weight.
3 of the Best Exercises For Effective Weight Loss
1. Interval and Fartlek Running: Of course many people know that in the last 30 years or so Running has been a very important exercise that strengthens the efficiency of the Heart and Lungs as well as burning off calories and keeping the body slim and fit. But lets just take it one step farther and lets talk about Running intervals and fartlek. Running intervals will take you heart strengthening and calorie burning to a new level.
Basically , with intervals and fartlek you run real hard for a few minutes and then slow down for a minute or so. After you catch your breath proceed with the fast running and do it until you are out of breath and your muscles tire. Then repeat the process and do this for 15 to 30 minutes. fast then slow and fast then slow etc…Depending on your condition.
Personally, I have had extensive experience with interval training and can attest to its merits.
However, before starting any interval training you should get to where you can jog at a comfortable pace for at least 5 to 6 miles. What you are doing is building a base in your fitness so that you will be able to handle the rigors of interval training later !!
2. Rowing: Rowing is such a great exercise and an activity you can really enjoy with others. It will work every part of your body and the fat will just melt off when you do a serious workout with Rowing !!
3. Squats – Okay let me clear one misconception about doing squats. It will not overbuild your booty too much if done properly. Stick with Squats using light dumb bells or just your own body weight. Doing squats will build up lean muscle and this in terms will increase your metabolism and burn fat off your body. Its a wonderful all around exercise !!
Remember, losing weight and looking hot is a lifelong endeavour. It takes time to get in shape as well as persistence and a never give up attitude !!
Plan a system that will work for you over the long haul. And do not try to overdue it too hard in the beginning.
