Weight Losing Tips – I busted out a 5 Miler Yesterday and It was Truly Runner's High !!

I tell you what I believe that all forms of exercise when done in a consistent and timely manner will produce good results for someone trying to lose weight and stay healthy. But ,for me at least, Running is one of those exercises that take my Mind and Body to the highest levels.
Case and point last night. I went out right before it got dark here in the Desert for a nice run. I went for 45 minutes and it was an incredible feeling as I felt stronger than I have felt in years. And the longer I ran the stronger I felt.
Well, for those of you who may not know what I experienced last night it is called Runner’s High !!
Your body gets into a rhythm and your Mind and Spirit gets into a comfortable zone and you feel as though you can sprint for miles and miles without slowing down. Its really an incredible feeling.
I encourage you guys to at least give Walking a chance as something that can be part of your regular exercise regimen. As you Walk more and more for a number of months during each Walk pick up the pace and maybe jog for a few hundred yards. Do this each time you got out Walking and each time increase the distance that you jog. After awhile you will be just jogging and that’s it.
Once you start to jog you will see the many benefits to your health and weight. Word of warning though be sure to jog on softer surfaces whenever possible. Try to minimize the amount of time you jog on hard asphalt as this will decrease injury to your knees and other joints.
Anyway, I hope this gives you a little motivation to at least try some jogging as part of your Lifestyle.
It will go a long way in giving you a happier and healthier Life !!
